I had an interesting conversation with my daughter about different colours.
I was sitting in the play room watching TV, while she was riding her tricycle in circles around me, trying to see how close she could get the side wheel to my foot without actually going over it and getting a big smack. All of a sudden (a thought must have occurred to her at this time), she stopped, got off her bike and came to me. She put her arm against mine and let out a big cackle.
Tino - "Mummy we are the SAME COLOUR!"
I'm thinking, no baby I am way whiter than you are. Lol.
Me - "And what colour is that?"
Tino - "We are BROWN!" in a very excited voice like she made the discovery of the century.
Me - "And what colour is your sister?"
Tino - "She is WHITE like my father!"
Cheeku - eavesdropping on our conversation - "Haha! Vaai ga e iloa lelei e le keige e ke lua meauli".
Me - "Ea la...ae ou ke poko mamao a ia oe!"
And that's when the fight started.
